Allow yourself to immerse into a world of beauty and mystery!

“Lo! Cintra’s glorious Eden intervenes In variegated maze of mount and glen. Ah me! what hand can pencil guide, or pen, To follow half on which the eye dilates Through views more dazzling unto mortal ken Than those whereof such things the bard relates, Who to the awe-struck world unlocked Elysium’s gates?”
in Child Harold Pilgrimage, by Lord Byron

Allow yourself to immerse into a world of beauty and mystery

Starting in Penedo, also known as the Village of the Holy Spirit, one of the two remain areas in Portugal still celebrating this Festivities.  This village, located on a high hill overlooking the farming fields below and the ocean beaches as far as our eyes can see, with its well-kept traditional houses offers a variety of possible hikes throughout the village itself but also as a starting point to one of the most beautiful trails in the mountain heading towards the Capuchin Convent, commonly known as the Convent of Capuchos, but officially known as the Convento de Santa Cruz da Serra da Sintra!

join us and find it by yourselves

Leave sometime to be embraced by the soothing sound of birds - they will be playing hide and seek with you, never showing themselves but you will have the privilege to listen to them continuously!
